Ascensión Granger Amador is a member of González Granger Arquitectos, a family-run architecture studio that she leads together with her son Ricardo González Granger and husband Ricardo González López.
The studio was formed in Málaga in 1988, by Ascensión and her husband Ricardo. Over the years they have carried out a wide range of projects, both in the fields of building and urban planning. The studio focuses on residential architecture on a broad spectrum, from single-family houses to multi-unit residential buildings, as well as restoration projects, as the axis of their creative and technical work.
The architecture studio González Granger Arquitectos has moved forward with a focus on renewable energy since it was joined in 2017 by Ricardo González Granger. An intergenerational studio combining experience with forward thinking, it was recently recognised with a Premio Málaga architecture award in 2020, for a restoration project in the historic city centre of Málaga.
