Arturo González Alonso is the director of AGA. Arquitectos, an experienced architecture practice based in Madrid. The architect’s work has primarily focused on the design of single-family homes and multi-unit housing, adapting buildings and premises to new usages, residential restoration, extensions and energy retrofits, interior design and universal accessibility.
With degrees in architecture from the ETSAM School of Architecture of Madrid and in scenography, Arturo González Alonso worked with major directors such as Pedro Almodóvar and Jaime Chávarri in the ‘90s. He thus gained experience with ephemeral architecture and came into contact with the various trades involved in this type of construction. These experiences had a notable influence on his professional development in architecture.
Arturo González Alonso’s primary goal has always been to pursue his vocation by putting his multidisciplinary training and extensive professional experience to use for the benefit of society.
